- Franklin, Indiana- March 2012- Residents of Morning Pointe of Franklin help tornado victims in Henryville. After first learning of the damage to Henryville, the assisted living residents along with friends and family gathered several hundred dollars’ worth of supplies specifically for the elderly. They delivered toiletries, Kleenex, Depends, denture cleaner and much more. Pictured are : 7 Scottsburg volunteers accepting donations along with Morning Pointe volunteers Lloyd (on lift) and Diane McKillip (on bus steps), residents Martha Wales, (seated) Joe Healy (seated) and Neva Tiepen-(standing by bus) all helped deliver the much needed supplies to the Scottsburg disaster collection site.

It‟s been six years of talking and dreaming; now Marybeth Piland will finally get to host her “Balance Retreat” for her residents at Morning Pointe Assisted Living of Franklin, Indiana and the general public.
