Nobody ever wants to leave the home they have lived in all their adult life. So when it came time that my Mother could no longer live independently it was crucial to me to find a place that would become “home” to her, a place where she would be happy and thrive. Morning Pointe has become just that.
– Lindsay, family member
I absolutely love it here. Everyone is so friendly. I have made so many new friends, I love the activities and the food.
– Labelle Anderson, resident.
My dad came to live at Morning Ponte in November of 2015 after a brief illness. After a wonderful 51 years of marriage, our mother had a brief illness and passed away. Our dad’s grief basically caused his health to decline and after a few years it was evident that he could no longer remain at home alone. Thank you Morning Pointe at Shallowford for giving us our dad back and for making the Golden Years of his life truly wonderful.
– Curtis Ottinger, Son of Morning Pointe Resident, Managing Partner at Heritage Funeral Home, East Brainerd Chapel
Hello. It was so great to see you and to see your beautiful home! Oh my I was shocked at how gorgeous it was! You are so very lucky to get to live in a palace like you do Ruth! So clean and perfect and beautifully appointed, with little alcoves here and there. I really did love the Chattanooga Choo Choo mural on the wall too! I just loved everything about it. It makes all other places PALE in comparison!

It became very difficult to fill the day with the caregivers at home. They didn’t have the expertise or skill to know what to do with my husband. I feel like making this change to The Lantern at Morning Pointe was the best thing I could have ever done for him. He has purpose now.
– Amy Smith, family member
I don’t have to worry about cooking, cleaning or being alone, and I feel like everyone here loves me. I know being a part of Morning Pointe assisted living eases my family’s mind because they know I am happy, safe and well cared for.
– Opal Walker, assisted living resident and ‘Mayor’ of Morning Pointe
If you don’t know it now, you will know it soon; if you don’t love someone with Alzheimer’s today, you will and these guys do it right. That is what I have to say about it. We are glad to have you in our community. We feel as though Morning Pointe does a terrific job with the full spectrum of geriatric care.
– Deanna Esslinger, Alzheimer’s Association Greater Kentucky and Southern Indiana
I love the warm and friendly feel of the community. I love the fact that Morning Pointe is pet friendly. That was a big plus in making my decision to live here. The staff is very good to me and I really can’t say enough good things about Morning Pointe.
