FRANKFORT, KY — Kindness was in bloom for the residents at Morning Pointe of Frankfort and The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, who delivered vases of red roses to four local banks on National Red Rose Day.

The senior living and Alzheimer’s memory care communities partner with local healthcare organizations and nonprofits to make a difference in the lives of others.

But this act of kindness is nothing new for the residents and associates, who inspired a yearlong volunteerism project called “Make Your Mark.” Morning Pointe senior campuses across the Southeast have teamed up with local organizations and partners to give back 20,000 hours of community service during 2017.
