CLINTON, Tenn. — The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Clinton residents are taking part in a scavenger hunt craze that is spreading across East Tennessee.
The seniors at the Alzheimer’s memory care community find joy scouting nature trails for hidden gems — painted rocks with little notes of inspiration. Some say its a game of “finders, keepers.” Others take a rock and leave one in its place. But for the Morning Pointe residents, its a way to pay it forward.
Whether its joy, laughter or precious memories, the seniors enjoy hunting for rocks and leaving special, handcrafted treasures of their own behind.
